A striking feature of the walk was this monolith. It was raised by a wealthy local land owner in honor of his brother in the late 19th century. It dominates the highest point in Stratford, a point that affords wonderful views for many miles along the broad valley created over centuries by the River Avon. 
This section of the walk is also policed by killer cows. Take note of this group -- you'll see them on Crime Watch some time soon.
If you ever doubted that cows charge, here's a video to prove it. They had obviously just eaten a couple of unfortunate walkers because they spared me........
